Kidde 4MDCO Mains Digital Carbon Monoxide Alarm

The Kidde 4MDCO is a mains powered carbon monoxide alarm with a digital display and a non-replaceable sealed lithium backup battery, giving 7 years of continuous protection and peace of mind, even in the event of a mains power failure.

It monitors the air for the presence of carbon monoxide every 15 seconds, and will sound a loud 85dB alarm should any be detected. To combat unauthorised removal of the detector, it is fitted with a tamper-resistant locking device. The test/reset button allows you to verify that the alarm is functioning, and the end-of-life warning ensures that you know when the device requires replacement.

It is BSI certified to BS EN 52091:2010, complies with BS EN 50292 and is CE tested and certified. The manufacturer's warranty period is 6 years.D

Digital display:

The digital display informs you of intermittent or low levels of CO, and the peak level memory function can recall the highest recorded level of carbon dioxide, ideal for identifying any leaks even when the property is unoccupied. The display can also show 'FIRE' or 'CO' when interlinked with other Kidde alarms, so should the alarm be activated, it will be easy to tell the nature of the activation at a glance.
